Meet Jill Hoffman
As a Sausalito City Council member for the last 8 years, I have a strong record of accomplishments for the city and its residents.
As a litigation attorney, I know the importance of identifying key issues and finding a path for success within the confines of laws and regulations.
As a Naval Officer, local business owner, and proud Sausalito resident, I bring a breadth of experience and perspective to the council.

Although I am a Litigation Attorney by trade four years ago I started an e-commerce platform, Qorkz Wine, that focuses on connecting the passionate artisan winemaker with the wine enthusiast who seeks access to limited production wines. I now serve as CEO for Qorkz in a highly regulated industry. As a litigation attorney, I've served as lead trial counsel on multi-million dollar lawsuits in Alameda, Los Angeles, Napa and San Francisco, and continue to advocate for my clients in trial settings.
On a daily basis, I evaluate facts and law and develop strategies for successful resolution. I know the importance of identifying key issues and identifying a path for success within the confines of laws and regulations.

I took a one year "sailing sabbatical" from San Francisco through the Panama Canal to Newport, Rhode Island with my husband on our 40' Islander, AWOL.

experience​
33 years ago, I came to Naval Station Treasure Island from the mid-west as a young US Navy JAG Corps Officer. I practiced mainly criminal law and served as lead defense counsel on hundreds of cases. After a tour in Naples, Italy, I left active duty 1997 and settled in Sausalito with my husband and son. I still serve in the Navy Reserve.
Since 1997, I've practiced civil litigation in the Bay Area and in 2014 started Qorkz Wine, a company that focusses on boutique wineries.
